1. Attention all RPN, RN and NP Managers: CNO License Renewal 

 

Please remind your staff through the month of December of the CNO License Renewal:

 

All nurses are required by provincial legislation to register with CNO and renew their registration annually. The deadline to renew your CNO license without additional late fees is Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024. The 2025 renewal fee for RNs and RPNs in the General and Extended classes is $400.02 (including HST).

 

If you have not already done so, please visit the CNO website for steps and information to easily renew your license today.

2. Charlton Campus: Parking Ramp 2 Preventative Maintenance Work Update


As a part of St. Joe’s ongoing commitment to maintaining our facilities in good standing, the scheduled maintenance of Ramp 2 is well underway. The work on Level 6 and the roof deck is now complete.

 

There continues to be no staff parking relocation required at this time.

 

The exit between Ramp 1 and 2 will remain closed until Ramp 2 construction is completed.

 

The bike cage located at the entry to Ramp 2 will remain CLOSED for the duration of the scheduled maintenance.

 

The contractor will continue to stagger the work throughout Ramp 2, blocking only the specific parking spaces being worked on, please continue to be mindful of the construction area when driving through Ramp 2.

3. Retail Pharmacy Holiday hours

 

Please ensure your team members are aware of the following modified hours for the hospital's Retail Pharmacies during the upcoming holidays:

4. Mail Room - Change to Operational Hours

 

Beginning Thursday Jan. 2, 2025, the operational hours of the Charlton Mail Room (MG 117) will be changing. 

 

New hours: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

 

During the new daytime hours, if the Mail Room team is not available, all outgoing mail can be deposited in the mail slot located in the bottom left corner of the metal mail boxes. If you have a larger stack of mail that cannot be placed in the mail slot, please return to the Mail Room when the representative has returned for this to be processed.

 

General reminders:

  • Access to MG 117 will continue via keypad using code 7777#.
  • Access to your mail will continue via the use of a mailbox key that was issued to each office.
  • Mail that does not have the following identifying information cannot be processed:
  • COST CENTRE
  • Department and/or physician

 

The Mail Room team remains ready and available to assist with your inquiries, particularly for Express Post requests or large quantity mail outs Monday to Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

If you and your team would like to recognize an awareness day, we kindly ask that you submit personalized content so that Public Affairs can share your message with our internal and external audiences. Please submit content two weeks in advance so we can ensure that your content is reviewed and scheduled.
