CNS Conference A Success

The California Neurology Society (CNS) presented its Fall seminar, “Innovations in Neurology and Neurosurgery” at the Hilton Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego this past weekend. Attended by more than 100 physicians and healthcare industry officials, the program included presentations by nationally known experts in the neural code of speech, neuro-ophthalmology, Parkinsons’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis as well as Cyberknife treatment of brain tumors and neurogenetic testing.

At the seminar, CNS announced election of Executive Board Members Sharon Yegiaian, M.D. as incoming President, Jeffrey Levin, M.D. as Vice President, Robyn Young, M.D. as Treasurer, Robert Weinmann, M.D. as Legislative Chair and Erik Perkins, M.D. as Immediate Past President.

CNS is also excited to present its next seminar which will be held the weekend of March 1 – 3, 2019 at a location in the Silicon Valley area , to be announced soon on the CNS website, www.ca-neuro-society.org.

The CNS mission is to stimulate and foster improvements in all aspects of the health care of patients with disorders of the nervous system; to encourage the association of professional neurologists and the advancement of the practice of neurology throughout the state of California; and to promote education and advancement in scientific and clinical techniques and methods of neurological medicine.
