We are now more than halfway through the school year and continue to provide the community with short digestible information regarding the Needham Public Schools. We post biweekly notices for upcoming School Committee Meetings and links to our meeting summaries on our Facebook page. Please follow us for timely updates! CNS Spotlight Series

We hope you are enjoying our new CNS Spotlight series that takes a deeper dive into topics related to Needham Public Schools. Every 1-2 months, our Co-Chairs sit down with the relevant School Administrator to discuss an important topic or program at NPS. So far, we’ve taken a closer look at the K-5 Literacy Pilot, School Enrollment, and the METCO Program. Our most recent Spotlight is an update on the Literacy Pilot. Stay tuned for our upcoming Spotlight on the School Budget Process.

Annual Town Election

The Annual Town Election will be held on April 8, 2025. There are 7 candidates running for 3 School Committee Seats and contested races for Town Meeting Members in all precincts. An official list of candidates can be found on the Town Website. The Needham League of Women Voters will hold a live Candidate Forum on March 24th at 7pm, and publish candidates’ written responses to their questions in mid-March. 

We encourage all eligible voters to research the candidates and get out and VOTE!
