WBASNY: Legislative Priorities

The legislation committee of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (“WBASNY”) is hard at work confirming its legislative priorities for 2024-2025.

The list of priorities presently being considered is outlined below, and the Central New York Women’s Bar Association, a chapter of WBASNY, invites you to weigh in on the following via cnywba@gmail.com.

2. Reproductive Rights

3. Grieving Families Act

4. Medical Aid in Dying

5. Judicial Security

6. 18-b Panel Increases

CNYWBA and WBASNY will be partnering with League of Women's Voters of the Syracuse Metro Area

Consider volunteering just 2 hours to increase voter turnout at the polls on November 5. There are options to table at MANY COMMUNITY EVENTS encouraging registered voters to VOTE & registering new voters.

You will have print material to handout, voter registration forms and pens.
