As you know, there are numerous benefits of being a CNYWBA member. We host several networking and social events each year (many of which are free to our members), offer free CLEs, and host chamber chats with the local judiciary. Some of our most popular annual events are our Judicial Reception, Women in Law and Medicine Dinner, Membership Reception, and our Holiday Party. By joining the CNYWBA, you also become a member of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), the second largest statewide bar association and the largest bar association dedicated to the advancement of women.

Please join the New York State Bar Association's Women in Law Section for a virtual conversation with Kathleen Rice, United States Representative for New York's 4th Congressional District. For only the 3rd time in U.S. history, we're heading into a presidential election with a female Vice Presidential candidate included on a major party ticket, and the first time a woman of color has been included. Terri Mazur, Chair of the Women in Law Section, will moderate the discussion with Congresswoman Rice about her own experiences campaigning and as a Member of Congress, as well as focus on the challenges confronted by women in politics, the importance of strong women leaders, and the gender and diversity issues Senator Harris will face while campaigning for Vice President of the United States.
