Make the Most of Summer: Grow Your Network & Skills

Summer is the perfect time to relax and recharge. It is also a great opportunity to network and build transferable skills that can support your future career. Whether you are lifeguarding, caddying, pet sitting, or scooping ice cream, no job is too small to make meaningful connections. You never know who you will meet or where a conversation might lead.

These experiences can also help you develop transferable skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management. Skills that employers value across all industries. Even everyday tasks can showcase your responsibility, initiative, and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
