Career & Self-Development - #1

NACE Career Readiness Competencies

According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, "Career and Self-Development is developing oneself and one's career through continual personal and professional learning, awareness of one's strengths and weaknesses, navigation of career opportunities, and networking to build relationships within and without one's organization". Here are three steps you can take as a Duke to get career-ready:

  1. Complete the free CliftonStrengths Assessment offered by the College of Business to uncover your top five natural talents
  2. Join a College of Business Student Organization to establish, maintain, and leverage professional relationships
  3. Practice your interviewing skills through the Big Interview platform offered by the University Career Center
