Passion Turns into Skill Development
Career & Self-Development
For many college students, pursuing their career goals takes center stage during their time on campus. However, career and self-development don't always have to be directly related to your main career path. Sometimes, it's about doing what you love, and that's exactly what Kelsey Allen, a junior accounting major is doing.
Kelsey might not have anticipated becoming a cooking instructor at UREC, but her love for cooking led her to explore this unique opportunity. Recently she had the chance to share her skills with fellow CoB students who are in the MadisonBiz Residential Learning Community.
By pursuing her passion and sharing it with others, Kelsey exemplifies the idea that self-development and skill-building can take various forms. Her story serves as a reminder that exploring one's passions can lead to unexpected opportunities for personal and professional growth.
