CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY LONG BEACH
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
Building Momentum
We're halfway through Fall Semester, and momentum is building on many fronts. I was interviewed by President Conoley about Space Beach and the COE's pipeline of highly trained grads. One of our ME alumni, NASA science communicator Dana Bolles, was part of the recent AstroAccess mission. And the COE is delighted to celebrate new partnerships with the Center for Inclusive Computing and Keysight Technologies. We are working on strategic planning and are also excited to be planning a Beach Women in Engineering Conference for next spring.
To create even more momentum and see more of our beautiful city, this month I also ran the Long Beach Half Marathon. Once again, Go BEACH!!
