Center of Excellence Partners with PNAA & AJAC to Host Successful Job Fair
On September 15th the Center of Excellence, in partnership with the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) and the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC), hosted a job fair at AJAC's site in Kent. Over 35 jobseekers met with a dozen employers hiring production workers, skilled machinists, and back-office professionals.

This successful event showed both the intense hiring need from PNAA members and a desire from jobseekers to explore the rewarding world of aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

Teri Reade, Employer Facilitator for Everett Community College’s manufacturing training programs, said, "It was a great chance to re-connect with hiring employers. Even more importantly, I made new connections with 7 individuals at three other Aerospace employers. All three new contacts have the potential to hire Everett's Composites, Machining, and Mechatronics graduates."

Keep an eye out for future job fairs, and contact us if you are hiring or looking for a career. We'll gladly keep you in the loop on future job fair opportunities.
