Our monthly newsletter has morphed into a weekly update, because we want to keep you up to date on all the community happenings!

11th Plague or Another Testament of Parents' Endurance

COJECO invites parents to join this interactive webinar conducted by a mental health expert, Alex Yentin, LCSW-R, CGP (in Russian).
Currently parents are stressed by helping their children with school work, in addition to taking care of work, family, and other personal obligations.

This interactive webinar will provide guidance on taking care of ourselves and reducing our own stress level.  Self-care is absolutely essential for your ability to sustain mental health and emotional balance to cope with such unpredictable times.

The program will include a Russian-language PJ Library storytime, an unraveling of the Exodus story using Seder-food items as 'characters' and 'setting,' an at-home food-puppet-making experience, and songs sung together in Russian, Hebrew, and Yiddish.

At a time of uncertainty, why is now the right time to find community? Host Margarita Korol speaks with fellow Russian-speaking Jewish young professionals on their efforts to build community and promote the value of global Jewish responsibility.

Take a virtual tour of some of Italy's gorgeous historic Jewish heritage sites.  Online tours (in English and Italian) that provide s elf-guided, room-by-room (and/or 360 degree zoomable) experiences. Navigation is optimized for computer, tablet and smartphone.

Starting this week, Yiddish theatre company is launching Folksbiene LIVE! - an online celebration of Yiddish culture featuring livestreamed theater, American Jewish performers, workshops, and other events - to entertain audiences young and old.
