Council Office Summer Hours

During the Summer months, our Council Office closes at 2pm on Fridays. We have our normal hours Monday-Thursday to serve you with your Scouting needs - Here is our full office schedule through Friday, Sept. 4th:

• Summer Hours: Memorial Day to Labor Day
• Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: Closed or by appointment

240 Scouts and Leaders from Cradle of Liberty and Washington Crossing Councils are headed to the National Scout Jamboree! Wish them safe travels and a GREAT Jamboree experience over the next 10 days!

MERIT BADGE DAY CAMP at Musser - August 3-7

This camp will be a fun, hands-on week of learning and adventure! Scouts will have the opportunity to work toward a variety of merit badges led by experienced counselors, engage in skill-building activities, and explore new interests in an outdoor setting. Whether they’re discovering a new hobby or advancing on their Scouting journey, participants will leave with new knowledge, new confidence, and great memories from a week packed with achievement and adventure.

NATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING - August 9-14

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is designed to provide Scouts with leadership skills and experiences they can use in Scouting, school, and life. The courses teach the best in modern leadership theories in the context of traditional Scouting activities.

Safety Moments for Laser Tag and Squirt Tag & Squirt Guns have been published and are ready for use. These safety moments allow us to have fun, engaging activities while also ensuring we focus on the right steps to prevent serious harm to our Scouts and Scouters.

Laser tag is permitted at indoor, commercial laser tag facilities

Squirt tag & squirt guns are permitted, but adults supervising these activities need to ensure the playing area is safe, squirt guns used meet our requirements and only willing participants get squirted.

All adult and youth leaders are invited to join us for our Council-wide Program Planning & Recruitment Seminar on Saturday, August 29 from 9 AM – 1 PM at the Cradle of Liberty Council

This is your opportunity to set your unit up for success with hands-on ideas and resources you can use right away. Enjoy a great morning of learning, fun and fellowship, plus lunch is provided at no cost!

We are excited to announce the 2^nd annual Cradle of Liberty Golf Classic on Monday, August 24th! Please join us at Waynesborough Country Club for a fun day of golf, while also providing much-needed funds for Scouting programs in underserved communities across Greater Philadelphia.

Cub Scouts - Save the Date and make plans to join us for this years' Cub Fall Fest at Camp Hart! We'll be welcoming Cub Scouts and their families on October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 31!

More details will follow in June, and registration will open in August!
