Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

During this month of October, Pope Leo XIV has asked Catholics to pray the rosary daily for peace in our world. Amid the conflicts and wars worldwide, the Pope also urged the faithful to promote peace in their regular lives encouraging us all: "May you be faithful instruments of reconciliation in your daily lives."

We are inviting the entire community to join us next Thursday, October 16th at 7pm to pray the rosary together for peace in our world and in our daily lives.

Our school community is also busy preparing the annual Fall Festival on the last weekend of October.

We are also preparing for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls) on November 2nd, which this year falls on a Sunday. Our Schola under the direction of our Director of Music, Dr. Joung-A Yum will music from Mozart's Requiem for the Vigil Mass of All Souls on Saturday, November 1st at 5pm.

In partnership with the choir from Saint Brendan's Parish will join our choir for the mass and our Schola will join St. Brendan's choir for a full performance of Mozart's Requiem the following Friday, November 7th. Please plan on joining us for some of the most beautiful music ever composed.

The political division in our country calls for prayer. In our prayer for peace, Pope Leo asks us to pray for reconciliation -- may all our prayers in the days ahead help bring peace to our own country.
