Hydrography Concentration now available for MS and PhD students at USF CMS.
Faculty in the College of Marine Science conduct research related to mapping the seafloor from the coast to the deep ocean. Primary research themes include techniques to efficiently map shallow regions to characterize habitat and monitor the health of benthic and coastal communities over large areas.

The students enrolled in this concentration can benefit from working closely with scientists within COMIT as well as others located within the St. Petersburg Innovation District. This region is home to the largest collection of Marine Science, oceanographic and environmental research agencies and institutions in the Southeast. This includes private business, government agencies, educational institutions and non-profits.

For more information, please contact David Naar ([email protected]) or Sami Francis ([email protected]).
