Becoming BN is a program designed to introduce early career, summer interns, and grad students to the wonderful attributes of the Bloomington Normal community.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are holding a VIRTUAL Becoming BN Program for the Summer of 2020 .

WELCOME VISTA MEMBERS!

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our two COMPACT AmeriCorps VISTA members to the team! 

The members started on June 08, 2020 and will serve with COMPACT for 12 months. Please help us in welcoming Stacy Bile and Rebecca Forsythe !
COMPACT LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

The McLean County Community COMPACT has launched a standalone website to serve as a community resources to our network of partners.


With the help of Cybernautic, COMPACT now has a wonderful site for the community. We plan to expand resources available so please check it out and let us know your thoughts!
NOW ACCEPTING PROJECT PROPOSALS

The McLean County Chamber of Commerce Leadership McLean County (LMC), presents Leaders on Loan. An opportunity offered to community businesses and organizations, Leaders on Loan provides a highly skilled LMC task force group to develop a specific program or accomplish a project that impacts McLean County. Currently Leaders on Loan are accepting project proposals for the LMC Class of 2021. Proposals are due August 01, 2020.

  • #commUNITYConfident encourages local businesses to protect the health and safety of customers and employees by adhering to recommended guidelines. 
  • National PTA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation have teamed up to launch Every Student Connected, a nationwide initiative to raise awareness of importance of bridging the digital divide, especially since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. More than 12 million students are unable to participate in effective distance learning.
