Dismissal Procedure

At the end of each TCC concert, families are asked to pick up their chorister(s) at the appropriate location due to the sheer volume of people in the venue. We kindly request your patience and cooperation with the sign-out procedure to release choristers as quickly as possible.

The TCC is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful environment at all of our events, including external collaborations and special performances. As such, we also expect all participants (choristers, staff, and parents & families) to be respectful of all members of the Toronto Children's Chorus and the venue staff. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

MAIN CHOIR (Cantare & Chorealis)

Main Choir choristers will find family & friends in the sanctuary at the end of the concert; no sign-out process is required.

ALL TRAINING CHOIRS (Spirito, Pasio, Anima, Coro)

Immediately after the concert, Training Choir choristers will be brought back to their holding rooms to pick up their belongings. Afterwards, they will be escorted to designated areas in the sanctuary for pickup and sign-out purposes. Follow the signs in the venue directing you to the correct area.

PICK UP PROCEDURE

Choristers will be dismissed following the end of the concert (roughly 5:30 pm). Please note that ALL Training Choir Choristers need to be signed out by a parent or guardian.

A staff member or rehearsal assistant will be stationed at each area - please check in with them to collect your chorister.

We take each chorister's safety seriously - we want to make sure that every child goes home with the correct parent/guardian.

Please be patient and respectful towards the RAs, staff, and parent volunteers on duty.

Not Attending?

**If there is no family member/guardian ATTENDING the concert, please advise the parent volunteers and RAs upon arrival at Metropolitan United Church. Your chorister will be brought to the drop-off doors once ALL other choristers have been picked up from their pickup locations. Please be patient as this will take some time. The estimated concert end time is 5:30pm and pickup procedures will finish around 6:00pm. Thank you!
