Governor-elect Janet Mills
Governor-elect Mills has appointed her campaign manager, Jeremy Kennedy, as chief of staff. Mills identified Jeremy Kennedy and former Maine Democratic Party chairman Ben Grant to lead her transition team. According to a spokesperson, the team has begun interviewing candidates for commissioner-level positions.
Jeanne Lambrew has been nominated as the next commissioner of Maine's Department of Health and Human Services. Kirsten Figueroa has been selected to be Commissioner of the Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS), often referred to as the state Finance Director, and Judy Camuso as the next commissioner of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
