Dear School Readiness Providers,
We are excited to share the following news with you today. The Office of Early Learning confirmed reimbursement for full-time care for school-age children during the 2020-21 school year.
School Readiness Providers offering full-time services for school-age children (not attending brick and mortar schools) will be reimbursed for the approved full-time school-age rate.
Upon reinstatement of the parent co-payment requirements, parents will be responsible for a part-time parent co-payment.
Important: Providers will need to change the unit of care from part-time to full-time for each student when reporting attendance in EFS Mod to be paid accordingly.
- Holidays, absences, and temporary closures will be reimbursed.
- Federal regulations require that a family receiving services will remain at that same level for the duration of the authorization period. Providers should report every day as full-time for these children, until the child(ren) return to brick and mortar school, and only part-time when that is needed by the family (verified by the ELC).
We will be sharing this information with School Readiness Families. We encourage you to share this information as well, so our families can plan for the school year.
