DMSB Spring Co-op Career Fair

On March 12, the D’Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB) team hosted its biannual Co-op Career Fair in the Curry Student Center. Attended by 228 undergraduate business students, the fair provided an opportunity for students seeking a fall 2025 co-op to connect in person with employer partners. Employers enjoyed having engaging conversations with students and sharing more information about their organizations and co-op opportunities. The DMSB team received favorable feedback from attending employers, and we look forward to hosting another fair in the fall of 2025!

Thank you to the following participating employers: Ameresco; Ares; CohnReznick; Coverys; E.J. Callahan & Associates; EY Munich; Follett - Northeastern University Campus Store; Force Factor; Giving The Glam; Groma; Hasbro, Inc.; Insulet Corporation; iRobot; Kenvue; Mass General Brigham, Neurosurgery; Mindoro Capital Partners; Northeastern University - Finance; Saxbys; SIG SAUER, Inc.; UniFirst Corporation; UnitedHealth Group.

Unable to attend the fair, but have a Fall 2025 (July-Dec) co-op opportunity? It’s not too late to post a fall co-op in NUworks.

DMSB Co-op Hosts Global Employer Delegation

On March 27, the DMSB Co-op team hosted nearly 20 prospective employers from Central Europe and the UK as part of the visiting Global Executive Education program, an esteemed executive education provider based in Prague.

While visiting Boston and NYC to gain insights into market specifics and current innovations in U.S.-based companies, the international delegation took the opportunity to engage with our team to learn more about the benefits of partnering with Co-op to grow their U.S. talent pipelines.  Representative organizations ranged from technology start-ups and fintech companies to major consumer goods and services firms. We look forward to growing global opportunities for students across the UK and the Czech Republic in the coming months!

DMSB Co-op Visits Northeastern University London

In March 2025, Elisha Clark, Assistant Dean of Cooperative Education, and Brooke Johnson, Senior Cooperative Education faculty, visited Northeastern University London to meet with DMSB students and colleagues, as well as with employers and alumni at Amazon, Criteo, LEGO, SharkNinja, and Zensai. As someone who has benefited from the

co-op program as both an alum and a current employer of Northeastern co-ops, what are some of the top benefits of continuing to engage with the program?

As a student, I experienced firsthand that “co-op is what you make of it,” and the same mentality applies to employers. For my team (at  WinnDevelopment), the benefits come from fully integrating each co-op student into our team, getting them engaged with key deliverables, and educating them on our goals and objectives. Each co-op is coming in with a fresh perspective from their classes and familiarity with the latest skills and technology that we don’t always get in the corporate environment. When students have been given the opportunity to share their perspectives, it’s resulted in some great improvements and initiatives that have made a positive impact on our team.

Additionally, the co-op program has allowed us to build a “talent pipeline” of strong candidates who are already familiar with company culture and the basics of what we do. When those co-ops join us full-time after graduation, half of their onboarding is done, and they can immediately start building the skills they will need for their new position. Overall, the co-op program is an invaluable tool that can yield several benefits for employers.
