Mark your calendars for Friday, March 15, 2024 as we kick-off our 6th Annual SJND Day of Giving. You will have the chance to contribute to the many areas of SJND that make it unique and special to our students. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 for our students. No goal is too large if we come together as one community and give back! 

Want to become an Alumni Ambassador for Day of Giving?

Share your Pilot Pride. We will provide you the tools and templates so you can share your Pilot pride on social media and encourage classmates, friends, and family to donate $10, $25, $50, $100 or more. 

Win Fun Prizes. During the Day of Giving, ambassadors’ names will be entered into drawings to win Pilot gear. To be eligible, you must spread the word on your social media channels. The Alumni Office will provide you all the language and shareable links you will need for SJND Day of Giving! 

Our annual Career Day is a terrific opportunity for alumni to speak with younger Pilots about career paths and education possibilities. This year, we will be hosting Career Day in-person and virtually on April 18, 2024.

We are looking for alumni to share their insights on career fields that align with students' interests, spanning areas such as the arts, business, finance, marketing, sales, sports, technology, engineering, health and medical sciences, design, and entertainment. Students are eager to learn about career path options. Whether you have pursued a career in business, arts, law, or any other field, your story can make a significant impact.

This year we are also looking for alumni to lead skills workshops in resume writing, interviewing, job searching and networking, and financial literacy such as taxes, loans, and credit. 

Career Day is on Thursday, April 18 from 11:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Each volunteer will be asked to speak or lead a class for 40 minutes.

The Alumni Office is reinvigorating the Alumni Council to pioneer initiatives that can greatly enrich our SJND alumni community. 

The mission of the Alumni Council is to sustain a fully informed, representative, and engaged exchange of information and sentiment between alumni and SJND, and to enhance and inspire alumni involvement that furthers the mission of the high school. 

The Alumni Council convenes four times annually and actively participates in alumni activities as needed. Council members bear the following responsibilities:

• Stay abreast of SJND goals and campus life to effectively communicate updates to the alumni community.
• Collaborate with the Director of Alumni Relations in developing programs and events that cultivate fellowship, mentorship opportunities, boost participation, and strengthen allegiance among alumni.
• Volunteer at a minimum of two alumni events per year.
• Cultivate a spirit of philanthropy by facilitating connections that enhance alumni participation in the Annual Fund.

Elevate your child's summer experience with dynamic enrichment classes taught by St. Joseph Elementary and SJND faculty. Each two week session offers unique interactive and educational experiences based on your child's age and interests. Before and aftercare is available from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Click here for more information.

• Leadership Pathway
• STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) Pathway
• VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) Pathway

Congratulations to Maddie Doud '14 (center) as she was named the 2023-2024

Exemplar Educator of the Year for Berkshire Elementary School in Fort Worth,Texas. 

Maddie teaches 4th grade at Berksire and embodies a warm, loving and supportive

demeanor which is felt by many in the community, especially her students.

She is a true gift to her students and their educational journeys.

Congratulations to Cooper Teare '17 on his 2024 US Cross Country

Championship win in Richmond, Virginia.  Copper comfortably led the pack throughout the entire 10K race. He took the lead with 1K to go to easily out-kick the field in a time of 29:06.5. 

Keelan Good '20 (far right) had the privilege of representing

Princeton University at the Cornell International Real Estate Case Competition,

marking Princeton's inaugural year in the event. Keelan attributes his selection to this

team to his experience at Ballast Investments last summer. In addition to his academic

endeavors at Princeton, Keelan is also a talented athlete on their rowing team. 

Congratulations to Caroline Evans '21 who was recently named Big Sky Conference

Pitcher of the Week for softball at Sacramento State. So proud of you Caroline!
