The Alumni Office would love to work with Class Agents to help plan and promote your class reunion!

Members of the Class of 1972 will celebrate their 50th Golden Reunion
on Saturday, November 5th!

Their festivities kick off at SJND at 11:00 AM in the Kelly Gymnasium with campus tours, a champagne reception, luncheon and Golden Diploma Ceremony. Then at 4:00 PM, the Class of ‘72 will continue the celebration at the Park Street Tavern in Alameda.

The Class of 1970 celebrated their
70th Birthdays altogether and what a
joyous celebration it was!




The Class of 1995: Mini Reunion

The Class of 1995 had a mini reunion
at Coffee Cultures in Alameda as fellow classmate, Karina Parajon Guiteau,
was visiting from out of town.

Congratulations to Sharon Rourke
Flores '69 and her husband, Art.

They have been married 52 years. For
their 50th anniversary, they booked a
cruise to Alaska, but due to Covid, they
had to cancel. They were finally able to reschedule for 2022 and here they are on the train in Alaska to board the ship. 
Congratulations to Sam Abels '98 and
his wife, Megan, on the birth of their
third child, Roman Grey Abels.

a new addition to the family too!

Wedding bells are ringing for Gabi Lippi '08 and Danny Crosetti. They just recently
got engaged. We are so happy for you!
Congratulations to Steve Vucinich '70
as he was inducted into the
Oakland A’s Hall of Fame.

Steve was hired to work for the
Oakland A’s while he was still a student
at SJND. He spent his entire 54 year
career with the Oakland A’s. Along with Vucinich, the Hall of Fame Induction Class included Sal Bando, Joe Rudi, Eric Chavez,
Ray Fosse, and Keith Lieppman.
The friendship shown here was
formed at SJND has expanded
to DisneyWorld in Orlando.

In 2020, Natalie Alldridge '17 applied
and was accepted to Disney University in Anaheim, but it was shut down due to the pandemic. She applied again and this time was accepted to the Disney University in Orlando. Little did she know Valentino Leite-Hall '17 was already at Disney University in Orlando and had decided to extend his time there until February. 
Susan Timney '81 and
Ann Stier Peters '81 both swam and finished the Alcatraz to San Francisco Race.
Congratulations to Alice Love '70 who recently retired and got this special mural dedicated to her by her former co-workers.

Congratulations to Domingo A. Magwili '68 as he was recently interviewed
by Sarah Greenman on her Collaborative Alchemy Podcast!

Domingo (Dom) Magwili is a lecturer for the Department of Asian American Studies Department for California State University Fullerton. He received a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Acting in 2008 from Cal State Long Beach, and is a resident acting teacher for the East West Players Theatre Conservatory.

Dom has been an active playwright, screenwriter, and actor. As a playwright Dom has written many musicals including Pinoys In Space: The Musical!, the cyberpunk play, The Descent of Chrome, the stage play, Steampunk Dragons, the fantasy/sci fi webseries, Samurai Mon Amour, and the novel, The Legends from the First Hemisphere: The Infernal Promise. As a produced screenwriter, he has written movies such as GiAnts, Power Elite, and S.W.A.T.: Warhead One. As an actor he was seen in the final episode of ER and in the movie Fifty First Dates. Dom is also adding audio book narrator to his vast list of expertise!
