STEM Pathways High School Training Session in Synthetic Biology at Boston University

The STEM Pathways outreach program is offering one-day training sessions in a real, synthetic biology environment! All training sessions will cover fundamental synthetic biology tools and concepts like DNA purification, gel electrophoresis, and bacterial transformation! Lunch will be served!

Experience the 2017 iGEM Giant Jamboree: Volunteer Opportunity

There is a unique opportunity for you to experience the 2017 iGEM Giant Jamboree Friday, November 10th; Saturday, November 11th; and Sunday, November 12th!  Over 300 student teams from all over the world will come together in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center to share their research on matters in the field of synthetic biology and compete for medals, awards, and bragging rights for the year!
 
Volunteers can be high school students, undergraduates, teachers, administrators, and community programs wanting to "see" synthetic biology in action. Registration is required by Sunday, September 24 at https://goo.gl/forms/Xof78oyVIBWX2US13.  You will be notified if you are a part of the team by Friday, September 29.
