CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

7 Months of Progress!

It's hard to believe that it has been just under 7 months since we broke ground for our Capital Campaign renovation and expansion project. So much progress has been made in such a short period of time, and we could not be more excited to share this with our Y community!

SAFETY FIRST!

Farrar & Associates have been doing a remarkable job keeping the construction zones safe so that we can remain open and continue to serve our community. With that said, we wanted to share a few reminders on operating procedures while navigating through this first phase of construction:

  • PARKING: We now have 3 parking lots open for YMCA member and visitor usage; the entrance from Valley Road is still CLOSED, and the main entrance can be accessed from John Clarke Road
  • CONSTRUCTION FENCE: As much as we all want to get an up-close look at the new facility, please be sure to stay on the member side of the construction fence! The parking lot closest to Valley Road is to be used for construction personnel only
  • FACILITY ENTRANCE: All members and visitors should be entering the facility through the door under our "dog house;" the double doors closest to the construction zone can be used for ADA and stroller access if needed, but should primarily be used as an EXIT ONLY

PROGRESS UPDATES
