COURSE OVERVIEW
This one day class is designed to provide a technician with valuable information and content to actually understand basic electricity and why things read the way they do on their meter. Many technicians understand how to take a voltage reading, few actually understand how to properly set their meter to read resistances, especially when dealing with readings above the 200k and into the Meg-ohm scale. The lesson applies basic electricity, safety and function of devices so they understand how voltage drop and resistance relate. It provides them an opportunity to use their own meter with someone present to help them make it work correctly. In addition they get the opportunity to personally take apart and reassemble a Fujitsu indoor unit. This class is split up into two sessions (morning and afternoon). Attendees need to bring their own digital multi-meter to class or they may purchase a Fujitsu recommended meter at a discounted price prior to the class.
