The latest health order and what it means for COOS.
Unfortunately Los Angeles County is on lockdown again. We are all praying that the holidays do not increase our numbers! Please everyone stay safe. Childcare centers (Preschools) are considered "essential"
therefore we will remain open
. We are still bleaching, sanitizing, wearing masks and asking people to self quarantine for an additional 3 days after symptoms cease. We are asking families with Covid related symptoms to get tested and let us know the results as soon as possible to allow us to do an extra disinfecting of the classroom. If there is a positive Covid case, the individual classroom will be closed for 1 week for the special cleaning. We will offer preschool classes through zoom if this happens. I really want to thank all the families for being so careful and getting tested when symptoms are present. I'm really proud of the care everyone has been putting into taking care of each other! Additionally, this new Los Angeles spike in numbers has caused us to remain at 50% capacity longer than we had hoped. Some of our old COOS friends and new friends had planned on starting and returning in January and this is going to be further out in Spring than we had hoped. So please, wear your masks and wash your hands!! Please also consider donating to our Walking With Our Savior w
alk in December because 50% capacity is really difficult to sustain budget wise! Please keep us in your prayers! Please let us know if there is anything you would like us to pray for you.
Our Christmas Break this year is from Monday, December 21st to Friday, January 1st. We open for 2021 on Monday, January 4th.
