It's finally warm outside and there is plenty to do around New Berlin this summer! Just take a look at all that is going on over the next few weeks, including the Beer Gardens, Concerts at City Center and Movies in the Park. You'll want to get out and enjoy all that summer in New Berlin has to offer while the weather is on our side! Fourth of July Fun


Thank you to everyone who came out and helped celebrate the 51st Annual New Berlin 4th of July Family Festival! A special thank you goes out to the New Berlin 4th of July Commissioners, volunteers and staff who put in countless hours of work to put on the Independence Day celebration each year.
Calhoun
Road Resurfacing
Phase II of the Calhoun Road Resurfacing Project is currently underway. At this time, Calhoun Road is closed from Observatory Road to National Avenue. The posted detour follows Coffee Road to Moorland Road to National Avenue. Calhoun Road is expected to reopen on Saturday, July 13th, weather dependent.

Waukesha County in coordination with the City of Brookfield will be hosting a special one-day collection of household electronics and appliances open to any Waukesha County resident on Saturday, July 13th from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The collection will take place at 19700 Riverview Drive in Brookfield.

The Mayor's office is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Citizen of the Year Award through August 31st. The nominee must be a citizen of the City of New Berlin and achievements must be recent
or on-going.

Hometown Hero Banners
Do you know an active military service member from New Berlin that you'd like to honor? Nominate them for a Hometown Hero light pole banner! The banners will display the official military photo of the service person, as well as his/her name, rank and branch of the U.S. Armed Services. Banners will be displayed from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Banners will be presented to honorees by the Mayor at the City's Veterans Day Ceremony in November. 
To be considered for the 2020 season, applications must be received by March 31, 2020.

All attempting donors will receive a ticket to the Wisconsin State Fair as a thank you for being a beacon of hope to patients in need. 
The blood drive is open to the public and appointments are encouraged.

Starts at Dusk

Come see Mary Poppins Returns at Malone Park. Admission is one non-perishable food item per person. All donations go to the New Berlin Food Pantry. If necessary, rain make-ups will automatically take place the following day.
New Berlin on TV
Did you hear the exciting news? New Berlin will be featured on Milwaukee Public Television's series, "Around the Corner With John McGivern." Crews will be in town filming from July 30th through August 2nd. New Berlin will be featured in the ninth season of the series.
