The rest of the message is as follows:
One of the highlights of the Holy Communion year is our annual Stewardship Celebration Luncheon. While the pandemic won’t allow us to have the event as we have known it, we are still planning to gather!
If you feel comfortable, please join us for a BYOE - that is, Bring Your Own Everything! - picnic on our athletic field on Sunday, October 25 at noon.
You’ll bring anything you need -- your own food, drink, lawn chair or blanket, napkins, and even trash bag. We will have the soccer field marked off for everyone to set up in a designated, socially distanced spot. Everyone will wear masks from their cars to their soccer field spot and will take them off only to eat, just like in a restaurant!
We are so excited to be able to gather again in person to celebrate our blessings as a Church family. Holy Communion is truly a sacred presence and is made even more so when we are all together!
Please take a look at Holy Communion’s home health screening questionnaire before deciding to come. Regrettably, if the weather does not cooperate, we’ll need to cancel.
Yours in faith,
Vance & John Lewis
