An update from Executive Director Gina Mintzer
In this issue of Membership Matters, we’ve attached the 2019 Annual Report – it’s our way of saying “this is what we’ve done for you lately.”
In short, we’ve upgraded our administrative technology with Simpleview CRM. If you haven’t logged in yet, please try and/or call our office and we will resend you a password to login and check your listing, contacts, upload images, etc… All so that we can serve you better!
The entire staff has focused on being as visible as possible among you, our members and then sharing all those connections through effective marketing activities.
The CVB has expanded the staff, customer relationship management, realized international recognition and broader visibility as a meeting, convention and sports destination.
Taste NY at the Adirondacks Welcome Center has afforded the Chamber new potential to promote our destination and members through marketing, visitor interactions and information distribution.
Please enjoy the read and share your thoughts and ideas with us!

As always, at your service,

Show Time!
We started our Travel Show Circuit in October with the International Travel and Tourism Show in Montreal.
Kim and Amanda distributed approximately 750 Travel Guides and collected hundreds of email addresses. Questions about hiking and camping were the top inquiries at the show.
Following this show we did see a spike in activity on our website from the Quebec province.

BFNY aims to recognize and promote businesses that provide special accommodations for bicyclists. A wide range of businesses can apply for bike-friendly certification, including restaurants and bars, lodging, shops, and museums. BFNY was conceived with businesses located along the statewide Erie Canalway Trail (ECT) in mind; however, eligible businesses across New York may apply and be certified.

The Adirondack Region Food and Farms Business Expo event is intended to help farmers and agricultural producers grow their business and encourage hotels, restaurants, bars, retail locations, and institutions to purchase local products.
The event, which is organized and sponsored by the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Washington County, and Taste NY, will give vendors the opportunity to showcase, market, and sell their products onsite while allowing buyers to sample and purchase high-quality goods that are grown and made in New York. The Expo is open to buyers, retailers, restaurants, markets, schools, institutions, and distributors as well as farmers, food and beverage producers, brewers, cider- and wine-makers, and distillers.
In addition to the Expo, the event will include two free marketing workshops presented by CCE staff to help local businesses and vendors expand their reach in the marketplace. Pre-registration for these workshops is recommended, but not required. Walk-ins are welcome.
