ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA - On Sunday, July 13, 2025, at approximately 10:12 am, the Albemarle County Police Department was dispatched for multiple reports of shots fired in the area of 2200 Commonwealth Drive.
First responders arrived at 10:16 am and located multiple vehicles and residential buildings with property damage; however, no injuries were reported. This is believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the public, and the investigation is ongoing. Residents in the surrounding areas are encouraged to review their home surveillance systems for any footage that may assist in the investigation.
