Supporting Father Len Schreiner and his wife Nancy
"Dream a Little Dream With Me.....'

Fr. Len Schreiner, & his wife, Nancy Trottner, moved to Northern New Mexico from Fort Collins in 2018 to realize a dream: establishing a private, interspiritual retreat setting for small groups and guests from all faith traditions. To date, Fr Len and Nancy have had over 185 guests from all over the world. It was going great until....

In January leaking water pipes caused serious structural damage in several areas of the house. Sinking and heaving was taking place beneath their feet.

As word spread about this predicament, a benefactor came forward with an offer to help. This generosity allowed Nancy and Len to take a “leap of faith” and hire plumbing and restoration contractors. There is good news. With a sigh of relief, Phase One and Phase Two are complete. Phase Three will cost $10,000 but will allow them to re-open the retreat space.

Mary of Magdala, ECC is indebted to Fr Len for his work and support when
Mary of Magdala was first forming. He
spent hours with the committee to discern and plan the steps to become who we are today. .

Please consider sharing this 'little dream' with Fr. Len and Nancy - just has he shared in the making of our dream for Mary of Magdala.

Mary of Magdala, ECC will match up to $500 in total to support their 'dream'. Click the blue button below to make a one-time donation her

Bike to Work (or Wherever) Day 2021
Every June, Colorado celebrates Bike Month and here in Fort Collins, we love anything that highlights and promotes people who ride bicycles. In 2021, we're back on track with Bike to Work (or Wherever) Day, planned for Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

Some have described this event as "Fort Collins' best holiday". Others love the celebration of people who ride bicycles.

301 Faith Partners will host a station. Helpers are needed for our station in back of TLC to setup and host. Stay as long as you like but coordination is needed. Ride your bike there as well. Good times! Contact David Cloyd at 970-227-0792

Sky Ranch Seed & Tree Planting Adventure
What a fine time was had by a motivated group of tree planters and seed spreaders at Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp on Saturday May 22nd! Although the drive to and from camp was a bit more of an adventure than expected on the gravel road from Highway 14, all were able to enjoy some mountain splendor as well as see first hand the devastation of the 2020 Cameron Peak fire.

The Sky Ranch staff was so helpful in laying out what needed to be done, and following the planting Brad Abbott, Executive Director, gave a fine tour of the old and new camp facilities. The following tells the story of how and what
was accomplished.
  • 26 members of the 301 Faith Partners including 5 youth made the trip
  • 232 pine, juniper and spruce saplings planted
  • 200 lbs. of native grass seed applied
  • 3 tasty meals provided by SR staff
  • 1 soaking rain just after the planting
  • 0 people injured, but some sore muscles ;)
Thanks be to God to all who participated in this uplifting experience and for their safe journeys!
