Autumn Equinox Yoga Retreat
with Louise Cook
19 - 22 September 2025
Embracing the transition between seasons when the amount of daytime is pretty much equal to the amount of night time.
This Yoga retreat, led by the inspiring Louise Cook, offers a deep and meditative Scaravelli-inspired practice to help you find balance as we move towards the darker months of the year.
It includes yoga nidra and an optional ecstatic dance workshop.
Spa & Wellbeing Offerings during both yoga holidays:

Massage and reflexology with Karen and Debbie was pure bliss! And the food was excellent. Ann C September 2024
The venue is in a beautiful place and so tranquil. Julie and I both loved our roundhouse. It was delightful to lie in bed looking up at the domed ceiling, especially when the light from the flickering flames from the wood burning stove played over the ceiling. Frances September 2024
My stay in the roundhouse was most memorable; in part due its circular form, which was a new experience for me. This shape gives the interior a special atmosphere. The craftsmanship was most impressive, as it was beautifully constructed using considerable skill. The kitchen and bathroom, which included a shower were both of a nice size, not being cramped.

Fabulous Testimonials from people who have joined Yoga & Movement holiday with us in Morocco.
"I want to say I recently had a wonderful time at the Garden Ecolodge with the lovely Kate Moriarty and fellow yogis. Everything, from our arrival in Agadir to our departure, went smoothly. The yoga, the staff, the food, the trips, the massage, etc. were superb! I would give everything a 10 out of 10. Excellent!
"We had another amazing week with you. We felt completely looked after and welcomed. The food was exceptional and everywhere was spotless. We had a fantastic time doing yoga with Emily Katsuno who is brilliant teacher
I felt the emotional warmth of the place as soon as I entered the grounds and all the helpful staff made my stay unforgettable."
Louise Cook - "Mostly just want to say thank you for creating such a wonderful tranquil space, and having the vision to make something like this possible. It felt so good to know eco measures had been incorporated into the design and day to day running and that staff are treated well and that being there is contributing to the local economy. So inspiring to see!"

A Choice of Lovely Spaces for Practice At Our Ecolodge | |
You can enjoy yoga in various places throughout our ecolodge to practice.
The 8-metre-wide tiled circle in the heart of our gardens with views of the town walls and pool.
A purpose built activity room. Unlike other venues in Morocco (which have cold, hard floors), our 64-square-metre room has a floor covered with a warm, richly coloured Marmoleum.
On the 112-square-metre roof terrace. From here you get great views of sunrise and sunset as well as a view of the High Atlas Mountains and the town walls. There is a similarly sized paved area by the pool.
Or you may prefer to do yoga in the shaded Oval outdoor area. It's another microclimate on site, on the northern edge of our buildings, providing both shade and a lovely view of the nearby town walls.
We provide mats (many made of lovely warm cork), straps, and blocks of various sizes. The calm and relaxation of Yoga combines well with the reflective and meditative aspects of Moroccan culture.
