HONORING NEW HIGH SCHOOL GRADS
RCPL is proud to recognize four new graduates of the Career Online High School program, bringing the total to ten individuals who have received their accredited high school diplomas and career certificates from the Library through a partnership of California State Library, Project READ-Redwood City, and the Redwood City Library Foundation (with support from the Atkinson Foundation). Kamilia, pictured during her recognition by the City Council, hasn’t been in school for the last 39 years. She wanted to get her high school diploma so she could get a good job and have a prosperous future. She successfully completed her COHS courses and has started classes at College of San Mateo. As soon as Kamilia earned her COHS diploma she immediately began working with a Project READ tutor to help with her English grammar and to support her educational goals at CSM.

If you know an adult who would like to earn their diploma for free, for more information go here.
