Steele's Lost & Found area is located just outside the cafeteria entrance. Please check regularly for items belonging to your child.
All leftover Lost & Found items are donated on the last school day of each month.
Clothes to Kids of Denver (CTKD) provides students in-need or in-crisis with a week's worth of school clothes, including a winter coat. Bring your donations to school any time and place them in the grey CTKD bin located outside the cafeteria. Questions? Email our school's Bin Champion,

From the Principal

Dear Steele families,
I apologize for this updated edition of the Stallion. The information provided in the first edition you received this morning is no longer accurate due to canceled events. Please review this edition carefully for the changes.
There will be no school from 3/16-4/6. Students will return from this extended Spring Break on 4/7.
I know the past few days have seen an abundance of ambiguity, stress, and unknowns. I want you to know that I am working to share as much information as I can, as quickly as I can, all while maintaining a sense of peace and normalcy. It is important to me that your children feel safe, even when the world around them feels uncertain. Thank you for your patience and support this week.
- On Monday 3/16 and Tuesday 3/17 I will be in the building, along with Ms. Melissa, and our Facilities team so you are able to pick up any materials including medication, backpacks, coats, etc.
- Teachers will send home learning resources for you by the end of the day today. This is not required, but a resource for you and your family during this extended break.
- Look for resources regarding food access and other critical needs to come shortly from the district. Joe Shoemaker Elementary will host a food bank for the southeast region.
We hope that you are able to enjoy the extended break with your families even during this stressful time. We look forward to seeing you in April.
Take care,
Marti
