The Supporting Father Involvement (SFI) Program, also known internationally as Parents as Partners (PasP), is an evidence-based approach to increasing father involvement, engagement in co-parenting, and fostering children’s development.
The Brazelton Touchpoints Center (BTC) offers a 24-hour training for teams wanting to implement the SFI program in their organizations. Your program can support father engagement by implementing this 8-session, parent group program in your clinic, school, or community-based organization. 
 
The program includes co-led group facilitation, an interactive curriculum, case management, and evaluation tools. The program is designed to focus on co-parenting partners (e.g., parents, grandparents, same-sex couples, etc.).

  • September 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 &28, 2023, 12 – 4 PM ET / 9 AM – 1 PM PT
  • March 4 – 8, 2024, 12 – 5 PM ET/ 9 AM – 2 PM PT

Additional Trainings

This training will explore how the Touchpoints Approach can help providers create and nurture collaborative partnerships with parents living with substance use disorder (SUD) and their children who have experienced prenatal exposure.

Attendance is required at all live sessions; these sessions are NOT recorded. This course is approved for 20.35 Continuing Education Credits for physicians, nurses, social workers, and psychologists.



Learn how to use the Touchpoints Principles and Assumptions as a starting point for mentoring staff as they gain mastery in using the Touchpoints Approach.

To participate in this training, participants must have previously completed this Brazelton Touchpoints Center training: Touchpoints: The How of Child and Family Engagement. All sessions have live Spanish translation and closed captioning available. Session recordings will be available.
