The 2024 WRL Schedule

WRL is excited to announce the 2024 Schedule of Events as we prepare to celebrate our 10th year of operation! Below you will find 10 confirmed dates for all scheduled races in 2024 and 1 potential event we eagerly await your feedback on. Format, pricing and championship format to follow in short order.

"A perfect endurance racing schedule" means many different things to many different people. We've listened to your feedback, tracked 2023 participation and worked hard to get dates at tracks that have proven challenging to obtain in the past. Though not possible in all cases we did our best to space events to help teams participate in more WRL events with less time pressure. All things considered we feel this might just be the best WRL schedule yet!

2023 has been a fantastic year and it's only shaping up to get better still - we can't wait to take on another epic Championship Season in 2024 alongside all of our competitors and friends.

Eagles Canyon Raceway — Feb 2-4, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Feb 1, 2024

WRL is excited to announce that Eagles Canyon Raceway has been selected to kick off WRL's 10th season back where it all started in 2014 - Houston, TX. Eagles Canyon offers drivers lots of elevation, great flow that can be best described as "rewarding" to drive. ECR has made a ton of recent improvements to the facility including 900' of brand new pit wall and lots of new paved paddock space. Join us in February to discover why this track has become a Texas Favorite!

Barber Motorsports Park — Mar 1-3, 2024

Barber motorsports park is BACK as the 2nd round of the 202r WRL Championship season! Called the Augusta National of racetracks, Barber never disappoints! This 2.38 mile, 16 turn facility boasts a ton of elevation, huge technicality and race-ability that makes this a WRL favorite every year.

Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course — Apr 5-7, 2024

We’re headed back to Lexington, OH for the 3rd round of the 2024 WRL National Championships! WRL will be the first organization to race on the MUCH ANTICIPATED new asphalt in 2024! This 2.4 mile, 15 turn racing complex was built in 1962 and has been a fixture of the North American endurance racing landscape since it’s inception. Add your name to the long list of accomplished drivers who have raced and won on this iconic circuit in April, 2024.

This event does NOT fall on Easter in '24!

Road America — Apr 26-28, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Apr 25, 2024

Join us for the 2024 Can Am Endurance Cup at Road America. As one of the only tracks that has maintained it's original configuration since opening, Road America is a truly unique (and fast) experience. Race the kink with us at one of our most popular events this coming April!

This event does NOT fall on Mother's Day in '24!

DAYTONA Road — Jun 7-8, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Jun 6, 2024

WRL heads to Daytona for 14 hours of racing finishing under the lights at the World Center of Racing! REGISTRATION INCLUDES FRIDAY TEST! Race this legendary 3.57 mile road course with us and enjoy the 18* banking, bus stop and of course the unforgettable Daytona Beach sunset as we race into the night!

POTENTIAL '24 EVENT - SEE BELOW

Charlotte Road — Jun 28-29, 2024

WRL has the opportunity to run Charlotte Road on June 28-29, 2024! This event would be a Test + 12 or 14 endurance event finishing under the lights. This event came late and is not yet confirmed - we need your help in that department! WRL wants to provide it's competitors with exciting and interesting venues that are in-demand and we feel Charlotte has seen a bit of a renaissance recently but we want your feedback. What say you?

Road Atlanta — July 26-28, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Jul 25, 2024

WRL heads BACK to beautiful Road Atlanta for the 5th round of the 2024 WRL Championship season! This 2.55 mile road course has been the favorite track of many racers since they opened their doors in 1970. Join us for 16 hours of racing in July 2024!

High Plains Raceway — Sep 6-7, 2024

WRL heads back to High Plains Raceway in Deer Trail Colorado and this year we're mixing things up a bit! Formats will be announced later, but look for a long-format race into the night and under the lights at the track that brought WRL the 24h @ 5280! If you've not been to High Plains you're in for a treat—a perfect blend of speed, technicality and elevation at a great facility await you in the shadows of the rocky mountains. With 15 turns and 300' of elevation this complex is as technical as it is challenging.

Watkins Glen International — Oct 18-20, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Oct 17, 2024

Another track that needs no introduction - Watkins Glen International. One of the most requested and recognized tracks in the US and around the world finally makes it onto the WRL calendar for our 10th anniversary! We're thrilled to have landed a 4-day weekend (Max Track Time on Thursday) for our competitors - we know you wanted it and here it is. Get ready to race the Glen draped in all the colors of fall October 2024!

Sebring — Nov 8-10, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Nov 7, 2024

WRL Heads back to Sebring International Raceway - the “birthplace of American Endurance Racing”. The best way to sum up Sebring is "iconic" - since 1950 this track has played hosts to the most famed drivers and teams that racing has ever seen. Get ready to take on the bumps of this 3.74 mile, 17 turn icon in November of 2024.

COTA National Championship — Dec 6-8, 2024

Max Track Time Open Test - Dec 5, 2024

WRL Returns to Circuit of the Americas for it's signature National Championship event! 20 hours of included track time at the only permanent Formula 1 track in the US! Experience the thrill of 90 cars in a multi-class endurance format at this incredible facility December, 2024! This event has always sold out, be sure to be ready when registration opens to secure your spot at the 2024 US Endurance Championship at COTA.
