Aloha Holy Innocents family and friends,

We were fortunate and thankful to have Rev. Sanford celebrating the Eucharist with us for two months when he and his wife, Bonnie, wintered here. We now have a former congregant, Deacon Brenda, celebrating Morning Prayer with us until she returns to her home parish in South Dakota in May. 

A grant application to the Rotary D5000 Foundation for partial restoration of the historic Aloha Cemetery (on Waine’e St.) was recently approved. Several members have been going to the cemetery on a regular basis to begin the restoration of the cemetery that was badly damaged in the fire.

Before and after clean up:

On April 25, Rotary’s “Malama Maui” will bring Rotarians to Maui from all over Hawaii to participate in projects. Our Aloha Cemetery will be one of the projects where Rotarians can make a difference. While many parts of the project require professional expertise (water lines, fencing, stump removal, etc.), volunteers will be working to clean headstones, clear away brush from graves, etc. Our thanks to Leanna Roberts who has provided the leadership for the project.

Further below is our Upcoming Worship Schedule that begins with a Midweek Eucharist with Fr. Hau'oli this Wednesday, April 10, at 11:30 AM. Following that is our Holy Week and Easter service schedule which begins this Sunday, April 13, which is Palm Sunday. Please note the times and locations for the different services. Our May service schedule is also listed.
