Outdoor Worship Time!
We did it! Last week we safely and successfully offered limited in-person worship, and so we are doing it again- and adding services!
This Sunday we will offer outdoor services in the Sycamore Commons area at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 5 PM.

These services will be offered in addition to:

  • 8 AM Morning Prayer (online)
  • 10 AM Morning Prayer (live-stream, online)
  • The Noon Service (online)

It is important to note that in-person worship will only be offered in so long as state and health guidelines support our ability to gather in this way. Additionally, this service will be canceled for inclement weather. We will communicate if circumstances change for any of these reasons.

In an effort to manage attendance numbers, we will be requiring anyone interested in attending this outdoor service to register in advance and adhere to the guidelines.
People who have been selected by lottery to attend will be notified by email by
3 PM on Friday, August 7. (This date was incorrect in the previous email.) Due to the outdoor space size, these will be small service offerings.

Only people who have been selected will be allowed to attend service, so please, no walk-ins.
I will wear a mask, but what else
should I know BEFORE I come?
Before you come:
Again, to comply with capacity requirements, people will be required to register in advance of any outdoor services wish to attend. You can register by clicking the button above or by clicking here.

  • Any persons who are at risk or are feeling unwell are asked not to attend in person.
  • Enter the garden using the ramp on Sycamore Street, in between the cathedral and the Diocesan office building. The cathedral building will not be open.
  • Please note that the parking garage is currently closed. Please use metered parking on the street. You must pay to park on Sundays after 2 PM, so please plan accordingly.
What can I expect when I get to the cathedral
if I am notified that I can attend?
  • Face coverings will be required. If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided.
  • Physical distancing will be required when entering/exiting the garden area, as well as proper distancing when seated for service.
  • Bring your smart device to use to download the bulletin, use an online Bible, Book of Common Prayer, etc.
  • Online giving is still the preferred form for donations, and is easy and secure!
