Corrections! The link for the
video about video conferences etiquette was omitted accidently. Also, we wanted to clarify that guides
may record and provide past Zoom conferences, this is not a requirement.

Dear Headwaters River Community,
By now, students have received invites to all of their classes for the week (and likely next week as well). As we move into distance learning tomorrow, we thought it would be appropriate to share this short video on video conferencing etiquette. Created by a colleague at Awty International School in Houston, it is an excellent entry point (or reminder) of how to comport ourselves while participating in an online class. Parents are encouraged to view it with their students this evening.
A few reminders as we get started:
The schedule for tomorrow (Wednesday, March 25) and additional information for students can be found here.
Beginning on Thursday, March 26, and running through Friday, April 3, students will follow a more traditional A-Day and B-Day schedule. That schedule can be found here.
Please take time to read through this Distance Learning FAQ with your student, and if you have additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Campus will be closed during the period of distance learning. If you need to retrieve something from campus, you will need to set up a time with Dan to do so. Dan will be able to meet you and let you into a building to retrieve your items.
Guides may be recording the Zoom meetings. Those who do not wish their children to be recorded may opt to attend the meeting with audio only.
Parents, as a reminder, you can access the Nest by going to Headwaters.org and clicking "Nest Login" at the top right or by clicking this link.
