Patriots Day Breakfast
For many years, a group from FUUSN has purchased food, prepared it and served it on site at the First Church in Roxbury in partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry (UUUM). The breakfast and subsequent gathering are to celebrate the Roxbury Community while also honoring the midnight ride of William Dawes to alert the Patriots to the British troop movements. We had a great crew involved this year and the guests and the UUUM staff were very appreciative. The crew had an enjoyable and rewarding time. Included were Bing Boucher, Jeannie Chaisson, Emily Gelbert, Kevan Hartshorn, Alta Hodges, Neil MacGaffey, Eric Moore, Jacki Rohan, Pat Rohan, Kit Ryan, Bob Staulo, and Julia Wolfe.
