CHRONICLE
March 18, 2021
Mission: Communion of Saints Catholic School serves a diverse community and fosters life-long learners and witnesses to the Gospel who are committed to worshiping God and serving His people.
PRINCIPAL CORNER
Dear Parents,

Tomorrow marks the end of the third quarter.  We are happy to be able to welcome back students who have been learning from home up to this point.  In K, 1, 5, and 8 , all students will be in person for the fourth quarter.  The teachers in those rooms will then put away their cameras and will no longer be offering synchronous learning.  They will bring the camera back only in the event that a student is quarantined.  If your child is absent due to illness other than a Covid-related situation, s/he will no longer be able to login from home to listen.  Work will need to be made up after s/he returns to school.  While having the camera was convenient, it was necessary to move the equipment to make space for additional desks.

A general reminder to students returning for the first time this year:
Practice wearing your mask.
Bring in your school supplies and all books.
Parents, please acquaint yourselves with the morning and afternoon drop-off and pick-up procedures.  If your child is a car rider, please have a large sign visible which includes your child’s first and last name that you have in a window or can hold up for us to see.  Please enter and exit the parking lots correctly.
Please make sure you have notified the bus company if appropriate, and/or have registered for after-care.
A Title 1 teacher, Ms. Maura Daull, will be replacing Mrs. Pat Prunty.  These services will resume next week once the schedule has been confirmed.  Ms. Daull will be in the building every Tuesday and Thursday.

This Sunday marks the Fifth Sunday in Lent where
    This Lenten reflection:  Mark 10:27
Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God.”
Have a restful weekend and continue to keep the students, faculty and staff, families, and the world in your prayers!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Whiteley
