There are four more days left of school before we start Easter break. I am so happy that this year finds us in a much better place! My next Parent Letter will appear in the April 15th chronicle.
Easter break may involve travel and/or get-togethers with extended family. Last Friday I sent notice that you will not need to stay home for a five-day buffer afterwards as it seems many restrictions statewide are being loosened. However, I do ask that you remain vigilant with symptoms and keep your child(ren) home if you suspect illness.
Thank you for your responses to the survey regarding an academic program opportunity in June. This program is still evolving and in the planning stages. We have heard from some of you that the three-week commitment is not possible due to your family vacation plans. Therefore, we may be restructuring the program to exist on a week-by-week basis to better suit your needs. As we continue to shape what it will look like, we will be using your feedback as a guide.
On a related note - if any of you would like to be a part of our tutoring team, please let me know. I would like to be able to have enough staff to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. Otherwise, we will need to limit the number of students in the program.
This Sunday is Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion and the start of Holy Week. It is a time of reflection and a deeper understanding of the Paschal Mystery and what God has done for us. I wish you all a blessed Easter as we celebrate the most important event in our Catholic faith.
