Exodus 19:2-8a, Romans 5:6-11, and Matthew 9:35-10:8. The focus is on the compassion and mercy of God for the world as evidenced by his sending people to proclaim the gospel to it.
The sermon will be replaced in the outdoor service with this year's confirmands explaining various Bible passages. They will also be confirmed and receive their first communion in that service. Our confirmands are
Maija Carlson, Camille Dahlke, Addison Henkel, Carley Lambourne, Ava Oswald, Nicolas Stemmler, and Nick Varady.
Holy Communion will be celebrated in all in-person worship services this weekend. We will try the continuous flow distribution method in all the Sunday services. Specific instructions will be given in each service.
Online worship is linked here. If you click it at 8:30 am on Sunday it is a livestream of that service. After that it will stream the archived recording of that service anytime you click it.
In-person worship attendance at the indoor services (6:30 pm Thursday, 8:30 am & 10:00 am Sunday) is limited to 25% of seating capacity. The outdoor service at 11:15 am
has plenty of room to spread out. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
