COSA meets at the Hadley Public Library at 10am today!

Storytelling for Wellbeing: In this presentation we will consider the skill of storytelling and how this practice helps Indigenous People move towards health and wellness.


Guest Presenter: José Lugo is a community educator and has served as the Native Education Liaison for the Collaborative for Educational Services. He is a detribalized Chicano Macewalli who uses storytelling to reconnect with his Indigenous cultural practices. Through this skill development José works to heal from the impacts of colonization.

Mass Nonprofit Network releases survey results


In February and March, the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network partnered with Boston Foundation and MassINC Polling Group to create the Massachusetts Nonprofits Federal Impacts Survey. This captured nonprofit perceptions of the new administration’s impact on their organizations and vulnerable communities. Over 500 nonprofit leaders responded! Read this crucial data to learn more about shared concerns for clients, staff, and organizations in the coming months and years.

Will Bike 4 Food early registration is open


This annual fundraiser is happening on September 21st! Ride for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts in the 15th year of this well-known event. Join together with cyclists of all levels and ages to pedal towards a hunger-free future on scenic routes through the Connecticut River Valley. Ride and fundraise individually or with a team of friends, family, or coworkers!

413Cares adds Veterans and LGBTQIA+ resources


413Cares continues to expand its resource page offerings with two new elements! Their new Veterans page includes local and regional services for veterans, active-duty members, and their families. It features information on benefits, mental health, and more. And their new LGBTQIA+ page includes legal and health care information and resources.
