Annual Re-Registration

The annual RSO Re-Registration process is underway. This is a multi step process, with all the requirements listed below. Please ensure you keep track of deadlines and requirements to successfully Re-Register your organization.


Step 1:

Submit the re-registration form on Owl Central. Go to your organizations homepage on Owl Central. Click on the “MANAGE ORGANIZATION” button on your organization’s homepage.

Then click on the blue RE-REGISTER THIS ORGANIZATION” button 

You will need to include:

·         The President, Vice President, and Treasurer for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 school year

·         On-campus advisor

·         An updated roster

·         An updated constitution

 Step 1 is due by Friday August 23rd, 2024 11:45pm EST.


Step 2:

At least 2 members from your organization must complete the following:

  • Organization Canvas Training 
  • Link to enroll: https://canvas.fau.edu/enroll/RBWCK3
  • Fiscal Training – Only students who have completed the fiscal training will be able to submit purchase requests on Owl Central
  • Link to enroll: https://canvas.fau.edu/enroll/9AB4WA
  • All Sport Club Officers must complete Fiscal Training by August 13th, 2024.
  •  iLead Conference Saturday, October 5th (More information to come)
  • Hazing Prevention Summit Thursday, September 26, 2024 (More information to come)  

All Step 2 requirements must be met by October 5th, 2024 11:45pm EST.

 

Failure to complete the re-registration form will result in your organization being frozen for the school year. Frozen organizations will not be able to submit events or purchase requests on Owl Central.

Sport Club Council

First meeting will be August 28th, 2024 from 5:00pm-6:30pm in the Alumni Center.

Owl Involved


The Fall 2024 Owl Involved will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

There is space for 8-10 student organizations to table at this new admissions event for prospective students. If you are interested in tabling, please email involvement@fau.edu. with your RSO Name, contact person, and phone number. Space is limited so please sign up by Friday July 19th, 2024 by 5:00pm EST.


Sign-Up For Residential Move-In 2024!!!

The Department of Housing and Residential Education needs your help to make the move-in successful. We are seeking volunteers to sign up for move-in assistance shifts.  Fall move-in from August 13 - 16, 2024, on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses. We genuinely need your support to have this process run smoothly. 

  • Our move-in assistance does not require you to lift any boxes but to provide directions to our families and students, help provide information to essential campus locations, and manage our loading and unloading areas in our Jupiter location.
  • We will also be seeking additional support for those who have been approved to drive golf carts. * Depend on campus.
  • It is important to note that our positions place you outside the residential buildings, please plan for warm weather and possible rain.
  • Shifts this year are only 2 Hours.
  • We will also have a TEAMS group during the Move-in week to assist with questions volunteers may be experiencing.
  • We will assign you your location for each shift and send that out on Friday. August 9.

 

We are providing in-person training and instructions for all volunteers. The dates and locations are to follow,  

·      Jupiter: Friday, August 2 at 2 pm in AD 103.

·      Boca Raton: Monday, August 5, at 1 pm in Nations MPR
