Alumnus Spotlight

When Robyn Casseri graduated from Genesee Community College in 1988, she never imagined she would be a restaurant owner. Casseri, a graduate in Commercial Art, started her career as a Director of Art at CGI Communication in Rochester and then worked at Champion in Perry for nine years. Robyn had helped out at Laurie's Restaurant in Warsaw before becoming owner. She would work weekends and assist with catering. When her mother-in-law, Laurie Casseri, passed away six years ago, Robyn decided she wanted to make a career change and become the restaurant owner. Robyn credits her time at GCC for helping her advance her career. "My education at GCC allowed me to grow as a person. It gave me a solid foundation to become a leader and a business owner today."
