Dance Alive National Ballet was delighted to be the first performance in this space.
Over 500 people enjoyed the performance. In spite of the mist and chill, performers and audience members felt the excitement. It was a magical experience. Did NUTCRACKER finish as usual? Not quite! The wind and rain forced an early end when the floor became a slippery slide and the technical crew was concerned that rain on hot lights would cause exploding lights. And so we closed the performance after a beautiful performance of the Marzipan Shepherdesses to applause and cheers from the audience.
It was indeed magical!
