| Dallas, TX - Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce’s President, Harrison Blair released the following statement as it relates to COVID-19 and resources for Black-owned businesses.
“As the world is facing a pandemic, the DBCC is continuing to advocate and find resources for your businesses during this uncertain time. We understand how current conditions in our city, state, and country can have potentially devastating effects on black-owned business. We are leveraging our contacts to gain greater insights into policy and innovative strategies that can be put into place to safeguard black-owned businesses and small businesses alike.
The DBCC is following the guidelines set by the CDC and the Mayor of Dallas by becoming virtual. This allows our staff to remain safe and healthy while we continue to support our community and members.
In these uncertain times, we strongly encourage our members, partners, allies, and the community at-large to intentionally support Black-owned businesses. To assist our members with sustainability, we will be sending out informational emails with links to resources to help safeguard small businesses amid COVID-19,” said DBCC President, Harrison Blair
