Following the latest Welsh Government Review on 9th December, Wales remains at Alert Level Zero.
Coronavirus in Wales is stable although still high (500 cases per 100K people. The Omicron variant led to a change in the Regulation change in Wales – face coverings MUST now be worn in theatres, cinemas or concert halls except when eating or drinking. The latest ADVICE to everyone in Wales is:
- Take a lateral flow test before going out, visiting friends/ family or travelling
- Wear face coverings in ALL public places except when eating and drinking
With Christmas so close and the unknown effects of the spread of Omicron variant, it just seems sensible to just remind ourselves what we can do to minimise risk to your staff, customers and guests.
At MWT, we really appreciate how busy members are but we are urging ALL our members to take a moment and familiarise yourself again with the WG Action Cards that relate to your business.
The Action Cards provide you with an overview of the ‘reasonable measures’ that you can include in your business Risk Assessment. You’ll find the Action Cards listed by sector on

As always, if you need any help or advise please do not hesitate to contact our team on 01654 702653
