COVID-19 - Mercy Care's Claims Processing Configuration

Applicable to: Mercy Care Complete Care, Mercy Care Long Term Care, Mercy Care DD, Mercy Care RBHA and Mercy Care Advantage
Mercy Care will be complying with all CMS and AHCCCS guidance issued surrounding the COVID-19 national public health emergency. We are diligently working to configure and enhance our internal operating and claims adjudication systems to support and comply with the requirement changes communicated by our regulators. Some changes have already been implemented and others are still in the process of being implemented. We may have to log some claims to prevent rework in certain circumstances, but it is our intent to help ensure any impacted claims are released as quickly as feasible and any errantly paid claims are adjusted for appropriate payment in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance.
