Hi everyone,
I hope this finds you safe and well and having enjoyed the long weekend!
This week’s InfoBulletin features 4 links to new articles on Myeloma Canada’s
COVID-19 News & Updates
web section
.
|
|
Each article addresses a different COVID-19 topic and has been included because it provides answers to issues that concern us all: testing for COVID-19; why this virus seems to hit some harder than others; implications this pandemic had, and continues to have, on cancer patients and treatments in general; and finally, lessons learned internationally on how this coronavirus is behaving and affecting the world population.
Within each article, there is positivity, a ray of sun amidst the clouds. As we continue to practise social-distancing and self-isolation, in many ways we are closer to one another than ever.
Never before has the world rallied together, for the common good of life, of humanity.
So, to borrow from the title of Dr Durie’s blog,
not only WILL we get through this together, we ARE getting through this together.
Please remember to keep following the necessary precautionary measures: wash your hands for 20 seconds every time you enter your home, don't touch your face, mouth, eyes or nose, please sneeze or cough into your arm, and be sure to maintain social distancing of 2 metres when you're out.
Stay safe, stay strong and stay healthy,
Martine
